Price & booking: 500 yen per group (up to 6 people). No advance booking. Just come to the venue on the day; each session is capped at about 50 groups.
Venue & access: Shiawase no Mura Ball Game Field About 30 min from Sannomiya Station on City Bus route 66; by car, about 25 min from the Hibarigaoka exit of the Sanroku Bypass toward Suzurandai/Hiyodoridai.

Why You Should Visit

A summer evening set aside for sparklers and handheld fireworks at Shiawase no Mura in Kobe's Kita Ward. Families are shown to a marked-off patch of the ball-game field in 30-minute rotations, which keeps things calm and manageable even with small children. Fireworks and candles are sold on site, with buckets and lighters available to rent. Festival game stalls and food trucks round out the evening.
