BEUTEA Pop-Up at Daimaru Kobe: Chinese Tea Selling Out by 3:30pm Daily

BEUTEA, a Chinese tea café brand from Malaysia, is running a pop-up store on the 6th floor of Daimaru Kobe from Saturday, October 3 to Saturday, October 17, 2026. It is the brand's first time in Kobe. According to BEUTEA's official Instagram, the pop-up has sold out every day since it opened, and stock is expected to run out around 15:30 each day for the rest of the run. Last orders are listed as 18:15, but drinks may be gone well before then.

A brand that drew one-hour queues in Nagoya

BEUTEA is a premium Chinese tea brand born in Malaysia. Its drinks pair high-mountain tea leaves from China with fresh fruit and dairy, and are made without artificial flavorings.

In Japan, the stores are operated by OTA Co., Ltd. The first opened in Yabacho, in Nagoya's Sakae district, on December 20, 2025, and according to the press release drew queues of up to an hour from opening day. A second store opened on September 4, 2026, in Meichika, the underground mall at Nagoya Station. The Kobe pop-up arrived about a month later.

In Kobe, the official Instagram posted a SOLD OUT notice for opening day, October 3, and has since described the pop-up as selling out daily. A pre-opening was held on October 1 and 2.

Two weeks without the trip to Nagoya

BEUTEA's only stores in Japan are the two in Nagoya, so until now, trying it from Kobe meant a trip there. In Kobe, the drinks are sold inside Natural Stock Cafe Kobe Daimaru, in the center of M BASE, Daimaru Kobe's men's floor on the 6th floor, between the west and east escalators. BEUTEA does not have its own separate counter; it is operating within the existing café.

Getting to Daimaru Kobe

Daimaru Kobe is a 3-minute walk south of JR and Hanshin Motomachi stations, and right next to Kyukyoryuchi-Daimarumae Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway Kaigan Line.
