Why You Should Visit

A weekly Saturday farmers market connecting Kobe's producers with locals. Morning-harvested vegetables and fruit, bread, and artisan foods line the stalls, and you can pick seasonal produce while chatting directly with the growers. From July it runs on summer hours, 8:30–11:00, moving from downtown Higashi Yuenchi Park to the shade of Rokko Hachiman Shrine later in the month. July 25 is the last market before the summer break; it pauses through early September and resumes on September 19 at Rokko Hachiman Shrine. Bring your own bag and reusable dishes.
