Why You Should Visit

A big multi-themed festival that takes over the lawns and waterfront of Meriken Park, held in autumn on the Halloween weekend. Both days bring a gourmet summit with 20+ Kansai food trucks a day, the Wanwan Marche with over 100 shops for dogs, a Handmade EXPO and the cosplay event Kamicos!. Kids get inflatable play areas, a dinosaur maze, a Mini 4WD track and hands-on making with Higashiosaka factory craftspeople. On Oct 31 there's pro wrestling on a ring set up in the park, and on Nov 1 a race run in T. rex costumes. Admission is free, and it suits families and dog owners looking for a day by the harbor.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. The Wanwan Marche is designed for shopping with your dog and has more than 100 shops for dogs.

Does it go ahead in the rain?

It goes ahead in rain but is cancelled in stormy weather. Decisions on the day are posted on the official social media.

Can I enter the Tyrannosaurus Race on the day?

Yes, at the venue desk on Nov 1 (desk opens 10:00). There's no suit rental, so bring your own T. rex costume.
