Why You Should Visit
A hands-on fish-catching event at Shiawase no Mura, a large welfare and leisure park in Kobe's Kita Ward, timed for the autumn holidays. Children chase and catch fish by hand in tanks set up on the lawn side of the Main Building. It runs on five days — 20–22 September and 26–27 September — with morning and afternoon sessions each day. The fee is 1,400 yen per person for up to two fish to take home; ages 3 and up (adults may join too). Each session takes 80 people and must be booked in advance at the Onsen Health Centre reception or by phone. Bring clothes that can get wet and a towel.
