Go straight to the station you booked. Boarding only: Nagata. Boarding and alighting: Suzurandai-Nishiguchi (towards Ao), Nishi-Suzurandai (towards Ao), Kobata, Sakae, Oshibedani, Shijimi, Ebisu, Kashiyama and Ao. At Suzurandai-Nishiguchi you can only alight on Shinkaichi-bound trains, and Nishi-Suzurandai cannot be used at all in that direction.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

Booking is compulsory. First phone Shintetsu Kanko (078-521-0321, weekdays 9:00–12:00 / 13:00–17:00) with the lead name, number of people, emergency contact, date, times and stations to make a provisional booking, then register everyone on the online form to confirm. Deadlines fall a few days before each date (17:00 on 11 Sep for the 20 Sep run, 17:00 on 20 Nov for 29 Nov). Armbands and a riding guide are posted to the lead booker and must be worn by everyone on the day.

Eligibility:

• Bikes: sports bikes and compact bikes (road, folding and similar)
• Electric-assist bikes and city bikes (mamachari) are not allowed
• Riders: 12 and over; those aged 12 to 14 need a guardian
• Some stations have steps, so you must be able to carry the bike yourself

Capacity:

• Four bikes per service, first come first served; one bike per person

Main times (timetable A):

• Down (Nagata to Ao): Nagata 6:57, 8:57, 9:57; Oshibedani 7:29, 9:29, 10:29, 12:29, 14:29, 15:29; arriving Ao 8:05, 10:00, 11:01, 13:01, 15:01, 16:01
• Up (Ao towards Suzurandai-Nishiguchi): Ao 8:25, 10:10, 12:10, 13:10, 15:10, 16:10
• Timetable B can be chosen only if none of these work, and may be refused depending on rolling stock

On the day:

• Wait in front of the bike boarding sign (near the rear door of the first car) five minutes before departure
• At Ao only, wait outside the station ten minutes before departure for staff to guide you
