Why You Should Visit
Suma Rikyu Park, which normally closes at 17:00, stays open until 19:00 on October 17 and 18. At the Fountain Plaza, a large piece of candle art made from around 4,000 candles is lit from 17:00 to 18:30. From noon, Poseidon Plaza hosts Halloween workshops where you can make a gel-wax candle or a coaster candle, and food trucks park up at Chumon and Poseidon plazas. Fire performances round off the early evening. A relaxed way for families and couples to see the park's European-style garden by candlelight at dusk.
