Why You Should Visit

A large-scale illumination that runs for nearly four months from autumn into winter at Kobe Fruit & Flower Park in the hills of Kita Ward. The palace-style buildings and German-style streetscape are wrapped in LEDs, with light tunnels and vast ground displays laid out as a walking course. Away from the city lights, the night sky stays dark and the colours read cleanly — a winter staple for families and couples, and easy to reach by car.

FAQ

Does it run in the rain?

It goes ahead in light rain. It may be cancelled in severe weather, so check the official site before setting out. The route is outdoors, so bring rain gear.

Can I go by car?

Yes — it is right off the Ozo IC on the Rokko-Kita Toll Road, with about 1,000 free parking spaces. Weekends and the New Year period draw queues, so earlier in the evening moves faster.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, with a ¥500 pet ticket. Follow the venue rules, including keeping pets on a lead.
