- Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets (the Galleria and throughout the outlet) Shinki Bus direct services take about 50 min from Sannomiya (Shinki Bus Kobe Sannomiya Bus Terminal, via Shin-Kobe Station), about 45 min from Shin-Kobe Station, and about 50 min from Osaka Station (Herbis Osaka). From JR Sanda Station, Shinki Bus takes about 20 min. By car, about 3.5 km from the Kobe-Sanda IC on the Chugoku Expressway, with free parking.
Why You Should Visit
Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets switches on its winter illumination for the season. This year's theme, Snowy Ribbon Story, takes the ribbon on a Christmas present as its motif, and champagne-gold lights wrap the whole outlet as if it were one big gift. In the Galleria, a real fir tree about 7 meters tall stands under a giant bow, with strings of light falling from the roof above, which makes it the main photo spot. The lights come on at sunset and stay on until closing, and the first ten days overlap with the Premium Outlets Sale (November 6–15). A good fit for couples and families who want evening photos on a shopping trip.
