Venue & access: Takahama Quay, Kobe Harborland About a 5-minute walk from JR Kobe Station. By car, use paid parking at Kobe Harborland, such as Harbor Park (600 spaces), which the organiser recommends.

Why You Should Visit

The first food event by Ushitabi Wasabee, a media site that has visited some 150 cattle farms across Japan. Dishes made with branded wagyu from around the country gather at Takahama Quay in Kobe Harborland, with free entry so you can graze along the waterfront. In the evening a reservation-only outdoor yakiniku booth opens for a BBQ-style experience. The event puts the farmers behind the beef front and centre—good for meat lovers and for pairing with the harbour night view.

Can I use the yakiniku booth without a reservation?

The evening yakiniku booth is reservation-only with 30 seats a day, and bookings closed on Oct 9. The wagyu food area, open from midday, needs no reservation.

What if it rains?

It's held outdoors on the quay. Any weather changes are announced on the official site and social media.
