Why You Should Visit

Grasshoppers, spiders, dragonflies — Kamen Rider's designs come straight from the abilities of real creatures. This exhibition lines up the insects and animals behind successive Riders next to the natural mechanics they borrow from, such as jumping power and web-spinning. Hands-on corners and quizzes let children test things for themselves. Held at the waterfront Kobe Maritime Museum, it also works as a rainy-day destination.

Do I need a separate ticket on top of admission?
Yes. The ¥700 special exhibition fee is charged on top of museum admission (adults ¥900, children ¥400).
Is it suitable for children?
Yes — hands-on corners and quizzes let elementary-age children explore on their own, and the museum's permanent displays on ships and the port are included in the same visit.
Are there any late-opening days?
The museum stays open until 20:00 from October 20 to 23. Otherwise it closes at 18:00 (last admission 17:30).
