Why You Should Visit

Marking 50 years of NHK's long-running art programme Sunday Museum (on air since 1976), this show brings together the actual works featured on the programme — over 140 pieces by around 60 artists, from Jomon pottery and crafts to contemporary art — shown alongside archive footage. Osaka-only exhibits include Takahashi Yuichi's Oiran, Ito Jakuchu's Stone Lantern screens and Konoike Tomoko's Skin Curtain. Some works rotate during the run. No timed entry; same-day tickets are available.
