Directly connected to JR Osaka Station, and within walking distance of Umeda Station on the Hankyu, Hanshin and subway lines. Drivers can use the store's affiliated car parks.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

Tickets are sold through e+. Advance tickets run from 10:00 on Fri 25 September to 23:59 on Wed 25 November; same-day tickets go on sale from 0:00 on Thu 26 November. On the morning of the opening day (26 Nov) and all day on weekends (28–29 Nov, 5–6 Dec), entry is by limited timed tickets only, in 30-minute slots. At all other times a free-entry ticket valid for any time works. Free-entry tickets are also sold at the venue on the day; timed tickets are sold there only if e+ still has some left. A ticket is also needed to use the merchandise corner.

Entry notes

• No re-entry. Visits are not time-limited once inside
• Children of elementary school age and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over
• Preschoolers and carers admitted free cannot buy goods in the shop area
• One purchase transaction per entry in the goods area
• Suitcases, other large bags and selfie sticks are not allowed, and there is no cloakroom
• Photos only where marked as allowed (no flash, video or audio recording)
• No cosplay
• There are no toilets inside the venue
• Daimaru and Matsuzakaya member discounts do not apply. Holders of a disability certificate still need a ticket, but one carer enters free
• Exhibits may differ from the Tokyo (Daimaru Tokyo) showing
