Why You Should Visit

Lito, an artist who cuts tiny scenes out of a single leaf, brings an exhibition to the 9th floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store. Born in 1986 in Kanagawa, Lito taught himself the craft from 2020, channelling the intense focus and attention to detail that come with his ADHD, and drew wide attention that year with the piece Leaf Aquarium. Starting from that work, the show lays out the artist's past and future as a single path. A good pick if you want to see the fine cut-out detail of leaf art up close, right in the middle of Umeda.
