Why You Should Visit

For two days, about 460 m of track is laid through Meriken Park and steam locomotives and other mini trains run along it. The event is organised by Kawasaki World, the corporate museum inside the park. The plaza in front of the Kobe Maritime Museum and Kawasaki World is open to everyone, so watching the trains costs nothing. To ride, you need a ticket stub from the museum plus the completion screen of an online participation form, so it works best combined with a museum visit. A good outing for families with train-loving kids.

NOTE
