Why You Should Visit
A free two-day event at Meriken Park gathering eco cars, safety-support cars and working vehicles. Test-drive the latest models, pose for photos with police cars and tow trucks, and let kids earn a "children's safety licence" by answering quiz questions. At the JAF booth, the only child-seat convincer in Japan recreates a 10 km/h collision with a dummy to show what a child seat does. A stamp rally and lottery hand out original goods, and marching bands, baton twirling and food trucks round out the day. A relaxed way for families to learn about road safety on the waterfront.
