Why You Should Visit

A one-day record fair at Marugo Ichiba, a market just south of Shin-Nagata. Twenty-four shops come from Kobe and Osaka as well as Shiga and Okayama, with stalls selling CDs, books, homewares and accessories alongside the records. From noon to 8pm, 15 DJs play, and the market's own eateries serve soba-yaki, seafood jeon, Myanmar curry, boiled gyoza and more. Entry is free, so you can dig through crates and eat and drink in the market as you go. A good fit for vinyl hunters and anyone curious to wander a neighbourhood market in Nagata.
