Venue & access: Metasequoia Avenue area, Kobe Municipal Forest Botanical Garden Free shuttle bus about 10 minutes from Kobe Electric Railway Kita-Suzurandai Station (scheduled service). Or about 40 minutes by bus from Sannomiya. Parking available (paid) for cars.

Why You Should Visit

A family-friendly marche in Kobe Municipal Forest Botanical Garden, organized by a local childcare-support NPO. Stalls selling crafts, food and workshops line the Metasequoia Avenue and the circular plaza in front of it, with food trucks by the bus parking area. Held on Kobe Tourism Day, so garden admission is free — a relaxed autumn day out for families with kids.
