Why You Should Visit

An open-air flea market held in Sunshine Garden, the outdoor plaza of Sunshine Wharf Kobe, a large bayside shopping complex a 10-minute walk from Hanshin Oagi Station. It runs on selected weekends from July through September, with roughly 80 to 100 sellers each time. Ordinary residents bring clothes, homeware, tableware, toys and books to sell directly, so prices are low and hunting for a find is the point. The mall's shops and the waterfront view are right there afterwards, making it an easy half-day outing if you arrive in the morning.

Browsing is free and no reservation is required. Just head to Sunshine Garden during opening hours.

What happens if it rains?

Can I go by car?

The complex has 850 free parking spaces. Turn seaward at the Oagi intersection on Route 43.
