Why You Should Visit

HANASUZU Market, normally based at Tanigami in northern Kobe, brings a travelling edition to Gallery A on the ground floor of KIITO, a former silk inspection hall turned creative centre. Seventy-one stalls line up: handmade accessories, fabric and leather goods and moss terrariums alongside Korean kimbap, baked sweets and small-batch coffee. Fortune-telling, massage and a free children's workshop round it out, and being indoors it runs whatever the weather.

FAQ

Is there an admission fee?
Admission is free. Shopping, food, readings, treatments and workshops are paid for at each stall.
Is it held in the rain?
The venue is indoors — Gallery A on the ground floor of KIITO — so it runs regardless of the weather.
Is it good for families with children?
A sponsor booth runs a free handprint workshop, and there's kids' nail art and a string-pull prize game. The hall is flat and indoors, so strollers are easy.
Is it always the same venue and vendors?
Both change from edition to edition. The series is usually based at Irodori BASE Tanigami in Kita-ku, Kobe; August 29 is a travelling edition at KIITO.
