Entry requires a round-trip ropeway ticket with admission: ¥2,500 adults, ¥1,250 elementary and junior high, preschoolers free. One-way ¥1,900 / ¥950. After 17:00 on Sat, Sun and holidays a night fare applies: ¥2,000 adults / ¥1,200 children (round trip only). Extras: treasure hunt ¥300, wreath kit ¥1,000

About a 3-minute walk from Shin-Kobe subway station to the ropeway base station, then about 10 minutes up to the Herb Gardens summit station. Web tickets are handled on the 4F ticket floor of the base station.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

No booking to enter (web tickets shorten the queue). The garden picnic is limited to 10 groups a day and must be booked by phone (078-271-1160) by 15:00 two days before.

Halloween Fair 2026, Sat 12 Sep – Sat 31 Oct:

• Displays in the Fragrant Garden, the Glass House (entrance and Herb House) and the Four Seasons Garden shed and cottage

German Fest 2026 – Beer & Wine Fest, Fri 4 Sep – Mon 28 Dec, daily:

• 11:00–16:00 (until 20:00 on night-opening days), observation plaza
• Hirschbräu German beers ¥1,200, German wine from ¥800 a glass, original herb sausage platter ¥1,300, lamb brochette ¥1,400, Kobe black curry (30 a day) ¥1,500 and more
• With Rote Rose (Deutsche Shoji); Christmas menu from 7 Nov

Treasure Hunt 2026 – Autumn, Sat 12 Sep – Mon 23 Nov:

• Sold 10:00–16:00 at the base and summit information desks, ¥300 with stamp rally
• Find the four Herb Rangers to reach the secret garden; a gift at the goal

Garden Picnic – Autumn, Sat 26 Sep – Mon 23 Nov:

• Set with bento, wine, biscuits and a picnic sheet; 10 groups a day, booking required

Harvest Festival wreath kits:

• 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 Oct and 1, 3 Nov, 11:00–16:00, Glass House 1F craft corner
• Fill a box with around 50 kinds of dried flowers grown in the park, ¥1,000 including the base
