Price & booking: Free admission (food and goods sold separately; Bollywood dance rehearsal participation ¥500) No reservation needed. For the "Let's Dance Bollywood Together" number you can either learn the choreography from the YouTube video and join on the day (free) or attend a rehearsal beforehand at Kobe Port Oasis (¥500) and dance on stage. Why You Should Visit

For three days Meriken Park turns into a slice of India at the 15th India Mela, Kobe's annual Indian festival. Food stalls serve curry, tandoori chicken, samosas and chai, while vendor booths sell Indian crafts, clothing and spices. On the stage, Kathak and Bharatanatyam classical dance, Bollywood dance, tabla and other instrumental music, and yoga sessions run from morning to night. This year also features a mass Bollywood dance number that aims to get 1,000 people dancing together. Admission is free, making it an easy stop for anyone who wants to graze on Indian food by the harbour or bring the family for a taste of another culture.

11th: sleep and Ayurveda, mehndi (henna) class, make-up tips from Indian women, mini yoga, Kathak
Seats are limited; book through the form on the seminar page (up to two sessions per person per day). Walk-ins accepted if seats remain

Admission is free and no booking is needed. Food and goods are purchased at each stall.

Are the opening hours the same on all three days?

No. Saturday Oct 10 runs 11:00–20:00, Sunday Oct 11 10:00–20:00, and Monday Oct 12 (a public holiday) 10:00–17:00.

Can I join the Bollywood dance without signing up?

Yes. Learn the choreography from the official YouTube video and you can join on the day for free. Attending a rehearsal beforehand costs ¥500.

Will it go ahead if it rains?

It's an outdoor venue. The official site has no severe-weather policy; updates are posted on the official site and X account.
