About 5 minutes on foot from Subway Sannomiya Station (about 10 minutes from JR Sannomiya or Hankyu Kobe-Sannomiya). By car, use the paid parking lots around Sannomiya.

NOTE

Autumn rites listed in the shrine's official annual calendar:

• Koshiki-sai (medium rite): Sep 19, 18:00
• Autumn Grand Festival and Ujiko Hohei-sai (grand rite): Sep 20, 11:00
• Autumn festival entertainment (noh by firelight, gagaku evenings and more): Sep 19–23
• Autumn tea offering rite: 10:30 during the festival period
• Flower offering rite: 11:00 during the festival period

Prayer services (gokito): on Sep 20 (Sun) and Sep 21 (Mon) no prayer services are held in the morning because of the autumn rites. On both days they start at 13:00. Reception is at the Judoshо east of the tower gate on the 20th, and moves to the first-floor lobby of Ikuta Jinja Kaikan on the 21st (an Inu-no-hi day).
