A bon-odori festival in the Hasuike district on the grounds of Hasuike Elementary School. Along with dancing around the tower and food stalls, the night ends with fireworks. Run by a local committee, this late-August event closes out Nagata's summer festival season — a warm old-town gathering that brings together neighbors of all ages.
