Why You Should Visit

Futaba Gakusha, a community facility in the former Futaba Elementary School near Shin-Nagata, holds its annual citizens' culture festival. Local groups perform choir, hula, brass band and dance on stage, classrooms host exhibits and workshops, and stalls serve world dishes and sweets. The outdoor plaza has a mascot gathering and cheer dance, and a digital keyword rally runs through the building — enough to fill a day with kids. Entry is free, and it goes ahead in the rain.
