Why You Should Visit

A plant-focused market held twice a year, in spring and autumn, on the lawn of Higashi Yuenchi Park in central Kobe. Flower and plant growers, garden shops, food stalls, craft makers and secondhand booksellers set up across the park. The autumn 2026 theme is "Botanical crafts", bringing in makers who work with wood, natural dyes and handmade paper. The GREEN STAGE runs talks and workshops, from bamboo composting to a seed swap. A good half-day stop whether you're after plants and cut flowers or just an easy afternoon in a city park.
