Why You Should Visit

A monthly food truck event the City of Kobe has been holding on the fourth Saturday since June 2026, to help residents squeezed by rising food prices. Up to five trucks take part, serving dishes made with Kobe ingredients and local favourites such as soba-meshi, and each offers a festival-only ¥1,000 menu that drops to ¥500 with a coupon. The venue moves each month: Higashi Yuenchi Park in November and December, Takahama Quay in January, ONE HEART BIRTH in front of Port Tower in February and Minato no Mori Park in March. Coupons are limited, and the discount ends once they run out — a cheap way to grab lunch outdoors in central Kobe.
