About a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Higashiyama Station on the Tozai subway line, or right by the Okazaki-koen ROHM Theatre Kyoto / Miyakomesse-mae city bus stop. Nearby paid car parks fill up, so the organiser asks visitors to come by public transport.

There are 12 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Okazaki Park (in front of Heian Jingu), and 6 public restrooms within 8 minutes. The map shows each with its walking time.

No booking needed; come and go freely. When crowded, numbered tickets may be handed out for the official booth and market area.
