Why You Should Visit
A new city festival built around sound and music, held for the first time at VS., the cultural venue beneath Umekita Park next to Osaka Station. By day there are sound-related exhibits, sound meditation sessions, talks that use BPM as a lens on city life, a BEATINK listening room stocked with Warp and Ninja Tune records, an independent publishers' book fair, and Onomatopoeia Shokudo, where Osaka restaurants rotate daily. Each evening brings one special live set: Kaho Nakamura, Ei Wada's ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS!, and Tyondai Braxton. A good pick for fans of electronic music, records and indie books.
