Horror & Mystery Fest at Daimaru Umeda 2026

Why You Should Visit

A free-entry fair on the 7th floor of Daimaru Umeda that gathers anime, manga, films and games built around horror and mystery. Exhibitors include The Summer Hikaru Died, works by Kazuo Umezu, KONAMI's Castlevania, the horror game studio Chilla's Art and the occult magazine Gekkan Mu. Expect photo spots that recreate each title's world, plus collaboration goods made with creators. It runs daily from 28 October to 8 November, so it is easy to drop in while shopping in Umeda around Halloween.

Is there an entry fee?

Entry is free and no booking is needed. Collaboration goods are paid for.

Can I take photos?

Yes, there are photo spots recreating each title's world. Follow the signs at the venue for where photography is allowed.

What time does it close on the final day?

It closes at 18:00 on Sunday 8 November. On other days it is open 10:00–20:00, with no closing days during the run.
