Why You Should Visit

A neighborhood bon-odori held at Toa Park, just off Tore Road, organized by the local Toa Yamate association. The street in front of the park closes to traffic, widening the site for food stalls and the dance tower. The 5pm stage brings taiko drumming by a Konan University circle and The 501st Legion, the Star Wars costuming volunteer group. From 6pm anyone can join the dance circle. The signature yukata contest takes same-day entries, with awards just after 8:30pm.
