Why You Should Visit

A revival, 40 years on, of the Kakuu Tsushin Tent Museum Exhibition, held on the Shukugawa riverbank from 1980 to 1985 at the initiative of painter Waichi Tsutaka. A special tent more than 60 meters long holds works by 116 contemporary artists, and admission is free. The venue is Shukugawa Riverside Park, right by Kurakuenguchi Station on the Hankyu Koyo Line, so it is an easy stop on a riverside walk. Nishinomiya City and the Otani Memorial Art Museum are among its supporters.
