Why You Should Visit

Western Japan's largest-scale fireworks show: 25,000 shells fired in roughly 46 minutes over Hamadera Park in southern Osaka. It takes over from the Takaishi Seaside Festival held since 2013, now run by a private committee for the first time. The concept is sheer volume rather than drones or effects. Viewing is ticketed-seat only—no watching from the surrounding area or the opposite bank—with options from single outdoor-chair seats facing the launch site across the canal to drive-in BBQ plots. Best for those who want to sit back and take in a fireworks show.

Essentials

There are 8 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Hamadera Park (Takaishi / Sakai, Osaka), and 5 public restrooms within 8 minutes. The map shows each with its walking time.

Facility data comes from OpenStreetMap. It does not include opening hours, fees or availability.

FAQ

Can I watch without a ticket?
No. The event is ticketed-seat only, and viewing from the surrounding area or the opposite bank is not permitted.
What happens if it rains?
It goes ahead in light rain and is canceled in storms. If canceled before launch, tickets are fully refunded. There is no postponement.
Do children need tickets?
For regular and pair seats, children of elementary-school age and up need a ticket; preschoolers are free on a parent's lap. Picnic boxes and VIP plots count capacity as 0-3 free, 4-9 as 0.5, 10+ as 1.
Which station should I use?
Hagoromo Station on the Nankai Main Line, about 7 minutes on foot. Map apps may show Hamaderakoen Station as closer, but traffic controls force a detour, so the organizer directs visitors to Hagoromo.
