Why You Should Visit

Hirakata Park, an amusement park on the Keihan line, fills its grounds with flower-themed lights from autumn through spring. For its 13th season in 2026-27, the centerpiece is a new roughly 17 m tall castle, the Floral Fairy Castle, with a renewed light show set to music. Seven main areas and ten sub-areas, including a walk-through flower garden marking the park mascots' 30th anniversary, a rose garden and a tunnel of light flowers, are spread across the park. Admission alone gets you in, so families and couples can pair the lights with rides from late afternoon.
