Why You Should Visit
The Hoshi no Buranko suspension bridge in Hoshida Park, part of the Osaka Prefectural Forest in Katano, is lit up from sunset until 9 pm. The illumination returns after last year's run, and this year the observation deck is open for night views as well. It runs on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only, and everyone who checks in receives a glowing bracelet. Reaching the bridge means about a 50-minute walk up a steep, unpaved mountain path from the car park, so it suits people who want a night hike and a glowing bridge in one outing.
