Why You Should Visit

Minoh's autumn tradition along the Takimichi trail, one of Osaka's best-known foliage walks. From 14 November to 6 December, the 2.7 km trail from Hankyu Minoh Station to Minoh Falls is lit every evening from sunset to 21:30 as the "Night Walk of Sound and Light", and at five spots you can tap your phone on a signboard to hear music matched to the scenery. The festival also brings forest yoga at Saikoji, a special autumn viewing at Ryuanji, a photo contest and a stamp rally, and pairs well with Katsuoji's autumn light-up on weekends and holidays (1–29 Nov).
