Paid seats (Ikeda residents only) cost ¥6,000 per seat, about 200 seats; preschoolers free on a guardian's lap Paid seats are for Ikeda residents (¥6,000, lottery via Ticket Pia from Sept 1, 2026). Furusato-nozei (hometown tax donation) reward seats from Ikeda and Kawanishi closed on Sept 30. General viewing needs no registration.

Why You Should Visit

A historic fireworks festival—now in its 77th year—held on the Inagawa riverbed between Ikeda (Osaka) and Kawanishi (Hyogo). About 4,000 fireworks are packed into an intense 30-minute show you can watch up close from the riverbanks. Held in autumn, it's more comfortable than midsummer festivals, and the venue is an easy walk from Hankyu Ikeda Station.
