Why You Should Visit

The 42nd edition of a citizens' festival held every year at Senri-Minami Park in Suita, under the theme 'Shine, children — bring a wind of peace to the blue planet; everyone come along'. The round plaza hosts a children's play area, a 'school lunch' corner and advice booths, while dance, bands, singing and an orchestra follow one another on stage. There is the ever-popular flea market, plus food trucks and farm-direct vegetables in the food court. Free entry, and the park is a short walk from Hankyu Minami-Senri Station — an easy morning-to-lunch outing with children.
