Why You Should Visit
A two-day pet festival at the Circular Flower Garden of Hattori Ryokuchi Park in Toyonaka, open to every kind of pet, not just dogs and cats. Rescue groups gather for a large adoption event for dogs, cats and rabbits, and the Rainbow Items program passes on belongings of pets that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge to support animal rescue. Around 100 exhibitors fill seven areas covering pet disaster preparedness, senior pet care and more, with over 20 food trucks. Admission is free; last year 34,200 people and 6,700 pets came over the two days. A good fit if you are thinking of adopting a rescue animal or want practical tips for life with a pet.
