Why You Should Visit
For three days only, stalls built around Yume Silk — the sweet potato grown in Osaka — line the pavement along Midosuji. Rikuro Ojisan and Minoh Beer join Osaka Potato, the grower behind Yume Silk, selling imo-kenpi and financiers, and Yuri no Oimoyasan with pot-roasted sweet potatoes. It is part of Midosuji Challenge 2026, which opens up the street's pavement space, and runs alongside the OIMOSAN Festa inside Daimaru Shinsaibashi. Easy to drop into over the October long weekend.
