Why You Should Visit

A market themed around rabbits, forests and plants, held on the plaza in front of the Forest Exhibition Hall at Kobe Municipal Forest Botanical Garden. Around 30 booths offer rabbit harnesses and treats, rabbit-motif goods, original picture-book art and plant arrangements, alongside aroma and plant workshops and an awareness booth run by a rabbit rescue group. Baked sweets, organic vegetables and shaved ice are also on sale, so you can make a day of it with a walk in the Rokko woods. A good fit for rabbit owners and families who love animals and plants. Held rain or shine.

Charity "My Pet" Photo Contest (Animal Heart Guardian Association booth): theme "a cute shot that makes you chuckle". Rabbit photo panels are displayed and visitors vote. Entries Sep 7-30, ¥500 per entry (panel cost and donation included) via the association's Instagram messages. Proceeds after panel costs go to rabbit rescue groups
