Price & booking: Free admission (items from ¥506 to ¥2,061,400, tax included) No reservation is needed to enter. Cakes from Patisserie Cou de Craie are reservation-first: bookings open Aug 16 (Sun) 10:00 on the Hankyu/Hanshin department store reservation site (free H2O ID membership required). Reserved cakes must be picked up by 15:00 or the order is cancelled automatically. Booking links are on the official page.
Venue & access: Kobe Hankyu, Main Bldg. 9F Event Hall Right by Sannomiya / Kobe-Sannomiya Station (JR, Hankyu, Hanshin); directly connected to Kobe Hankyu.

Why You Should Visit

A festival for cat lovers returns to the 9th floor of Kobe Hankyu. Bags, accessories, original paintings and ceramics by cat-loving creators from across Japan fill the hall, ranging from a few hundred yen to a two-million-yen showpiece. New this year: Patisserie Cou de Craie, a cake shop near Hankyu Rokko, brings cat-faced sweets. Even if you don't buy, six days of browsing the artwork is worth the trip.
