Why You Should Visit

A one-day food market bringing together Kyotamba's farm produce, local specialties and dishes from businesses around the town. Tent stalls and food trucks line the Children's Field at Kyoto Prefectural Tamba Nature Park, selling food and goods you will only find in Kyotamba, alongside a town information booth. It is organised jointly by the town, the park, Shuchi High School, JA Kyoto, the chamber of commerce and the tourism association. A good fit if you want a taste of autumn in Kyotamba in one place, or a park day out with the kids.

From JR Sonobe Station, take the Chukyo Kotsu bus (Sonofuku Line towards Hiyama) to Tamba Shizen Undo Koen or Tamba Shizen Undo Koen-mae Kyotamba Choyakuba-mae. By car, about 5 min from Tamba IC on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway (free parking)
