Why You Should Visit

Meals, rooms, working hands, days off — this exhibition follows where painters chose to cut into daily life and turn it into a picture. Works by artists connected to Kobe, including Masaru Nakanishi, Heizo Kanayama, Hidekatsu Kawanishi, Kazuo Aoki, Kinji Kawabata and Kazu Nagao. The subjects are quiet, which is exactly why what each painter found beautiful shows through. Admission is ¥200, three minutes on foot from the Rokko Liner station.
