Why You Should Visit

Students from 12 KOSEN colleges of technology, mostly from the Kansai region, bring the robots and devices they have built to Kobe Sambo Hall for a day of hands-on booths. Try flying a drone, driving a mini robot, cutting your own keyring on a laser machine, making an architectural relief, or exploring light experiments. Students from Akashi KOSEN also show their model of the Grand Ring from Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai. There is a stage, food trucks and a stamp rally with Kobe local products as prizes. Admission is free, you can come and go as you like, and the venue is indoors. This is the third stop of a touring event after Yamagata and Tochigi, and the first in Hyogo.

About a 3-minute walk from Boeki Center Station on the Port Liner, or about 10 minutes on foot south from JR / Hanshin Sannomiya Station. Drivers can use paid car parks nearby.

FAQ

Do I need a ticket or a reservation?

Admission is free and no booking is needed. You can come and go freely between 10:00 and 17:00.

Can children take part in the activities?

Most booths are hands-on and designed with primary and junior high school students and their parents in mind. Craft workshops and drone flying are enjoyable for adults too.

Does it go ahead in the rain?

Yes. The venue is indoors on the second floor of Kobe Sambo Hall, so the weather makes no difference.

Is there food available?

Food trucks are planned at the venue. Sannomiya's many restaurants are also close by, and you can step out and come back.
