Why You Should Visit

The 13th Kobe-Ichi gathers local Kobe and Hyogo food and goods on the 9th floor of Daimaru Kobe. This edition centers on a Kobe Rice Cracker Association collection of long-running kawara-senbei makers and 'baseball castella' cakes baked by a rotating vendor each day (50 per day). Vendors from Shioya, bokkake udon, and Himeji's eki-soba round out the local flavors. A poster exhibition of films shot in Kobe runs alongside, with a DeLorean on display on the weekend. A handy stop for picking up Kobe souvenirs while exploring the former foreign settlement.

It is sold Sep 9–13 by two rotating makers each day, 50 per day, up to 2 bags per person, while stocks last.
