Venue & access: Sannomiya OPA 2, 5F special venue By train: 1 minute on foot from the east ticket gate of JR Sannomiya Station, or 1 minute from the east gate of Hanshin Kobe-Sannomiya Station. By car: parking validation is handled at the 1F service counter of Daiei Kobe Sannomiya (terms follow that store).

There are 12 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Sannomiya OPA 2, 5F special venue, and 1 public restrooms within 8 minutes. The map shows each with its walking time.

Why You Should Visit

Four haunted attractions, each built around a different kind of fear, fill a special venue on the 5th floor of Sannomiya OPA 2 for the summer. Taboo unfolds in a sealed room, Darkness plays out with the lights killed, Village sends you walking through a place you should not have entered, and Dolls works on your ears alone. The four stories connect to one another. Each run lasts 8-10 minutes, and the venue is indoors a minute from the station, so it fits into a shopping trip. A set ticket covers all four.

The four attractions

Taboo (room type / approx. 10 min): a forbidden story unfolding in a sealed space
Darkness (pitch-dark type / approx. 8 min): fear you cannot see closes in
Village (walk-through type / approx. 10 min): escape a ritual in a village you should never have entered
Dolls (sound type / approx. 8 min): a story told at your ear, where dolls welcome you in

FAQ

Can children enter?

Children under 6 cannot enter. Even for older children, the attractions use total darkness and sound played right at your ear, so skip them if that is too much.

How long does it take to try all four?

Each one runs 8-10 minutes, so under 40 minutes of actual experience in total. Add queueing time for each attraction when it is busy.

Is it open on rainy days?

Yes. The venue is indoors inside a shopping complex right by the station, so the weather does not affect it.

Can tickets be bought in advance?

There is no reservation or advance sale. Buy at the ticket counter on site on the day. Cash and PayPay are accepted.
