Why You Should Visit
One of the Kansai region's largest Bon dance gatherings, held on the waterfront at Meriken Park. A yagura tower rises at the center, and anyone can join the circle and dance. The grounds also fill with sponsor booths, food trucks and a children's festival-stall area, and the whole park comes alive against the harbor's evening lights. No dance experience is needed, making it a perfect summer night out for families, friends or a yukata stroll.

Weather & access:
- Held in light rain, cancelled in severe weather. Status is announced around noon on the day on the "Tamemap Chuo" event board.
- No on-site parking; public transport is recommended.
Note: The general public cannot go up onto the yagura (stage).
