Why You Should Visit

Suzuran-no-Yu, a day-trip hot spring in Kobe's Kita ward, hosts this fireworks evening on its own grounds, launching the shells from the ER Futsal Stadium next door. The display starts around 20:00 and runs about ten minutes, viewable from the stall area and from the hot spring itself. From 15:00 the grounds fill with festival games, food, hands-on activities and craft stalls, and admission is free. It is billed as a community event for Kita ward, at a scale families can enjoy from late afternoon into the night.
