Why You Should Visit
A summer festival at Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens, spread across a hillside 400m above the city. Sunflower fields bloom in the Garden of Seasons and Hill of Winds, while cooling touches like the mist-filled Mist Forest and the lamp-lit Fairy-tale Forest keep even hot days pleasant. After sunset the Forest of Illuminations and sweeping views of Kobe's night skyline take over, with extended evening hours all summer. Reached by a scenic ropeway from Shin-Kobe Station — a breezy escape for families and couples.
